OMGosh!!!!!!
OMGOSH!!!!!!!!! It's a good thing there are like four people who know about this blog, otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd get fired for what I'm about to say! There has been a lot of 'little things' (where I am currently employed) that are driving me crazy and quite frankly it's getting to the point where things need to change or I'm going to quit. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS GOING TO BE A GRIPE SESSION Anywho, so today I woke up ready to conquer the day. It's to bad that the day didn't forewarn me of what was to come. "E" wasn't feeling well today so she stayed home. No big deal I thought, it happens so I gave her some medicine, made some breakfast, let her watch some cartoons (BTW....I got grilled big time for letting her watch cartoons. I thought that was kind of wierd because all of the kids have been able to watch t.v. when they have been home ill. They've never complained about it until now. Apparently, it "sets a precedent so that the kids won't want to go to school." Give me a break already!!! It's not like she watched it all day. She read and even played a little game with me. Good freaking heavens. Yes, your children are going to fake being sick all the time now because they'll get to watch t.v.!!! These people are crazy sometimes.) Everything was going well until I entered the laundry room, where upon I see splayed out on the counter one of the kids shirts and two sticky notes attached to it. "Taryn- See how Nathan's brand new shirt shrunk? See how the stains of the lower right are baked on? That's exactly why I asked you to spot treat and not dry on high like you did." Okay, so here's the deal-e-o on that. I've been telling them for months that there is something wrong with their washer. Occasionally, clothes will get spots on them for unknown reasons. And just to clarify, it doesn't just happen when I wash clothes, but when they themselves are washing their own clothes. Secondly, I spot treat ALL of the kids blessed clothing. After my first encounter with this issue I learned quickly how to wash the kids clothes their way. Why they keep hounding me on this issue, I'll never know. Anyway, moving on....so shirts shrink a little especially if they are 100% cotton. I'm still not sure if he's mad that it was just a 'brand new' shirt that shrunk a little or the fact that it was the 'almighty' Stanford shirt. We'll never know! As far as the whole drying deal is concerned, it's true I used to dry the kids clothes on high. Who knew it would bring all sorts of hell for doing that? Me apparently.....but again I've repented, and have been using the lowest heating possible to dry their clothes. And STILL I get these random notes saying that I'm just not getting it. Well........I GET IT!!!!!!!! Gosh dang it! I make the freaking appointments, take the kids to all of their crazy events, make dinner......oh and this is another thing.......I'm seriously considering of having the kids make their own dinners and lunches for that matter. I feel like a fraking, yes fraking short order cook sometimes. One kid doesn't like pot sticker, the other fish, and the other one only eats from plastic forks.....one kid thinks the milk is always sour (which is not true....the milk is freaking fine) and psychs himself out so badly that he ends up gagging and throwing up....one kids hate burritos and the other throws tantrums if the meals are not prepared efficently enough for their taste (it ends up thrown across the room otherwise).....Where are the days when whatever was made for dinner was put in front of you and you ATE IT? I remember, and correct me if I'm wrong Mom, when I didn't eat all of my dinner. Not only did I not get dessert, but I had to eat my leftover meal for breakfast or lunch and even for dinner. Basically, it was finish it or starve until you do. All I get is complaining from everyone!!!!! Your jobs are stressful, I get that, but really? Must you take it out on me? I'm doing my job the best I can! alkdjfowehrqwobqowjfkl;asjdflkaeht boiueroiu qwerkljdfjasldkfj al;sdje0e3 I kind of feel a little better now......oh and as a side note, spanking will definatly be reinforced in my household!!!!!! I don't care what people say. If I tried to pull ANY of the crap that these kids are doing......whoa I would have been dead already! Seriously! There is only so much that time outs, check charts, and all of that crap can accomplish before it doesn't do anything!!!!!!! Oh and one other thing to add to the growing list of things.....It irritates the heck out of me when the kids complain about something and then I get in trouble for nothing. Take for example today, Emily complained that she was hungry because she didn't get anything for lunch. Okay people, the girl wanted UDON noodles for lunch and I made her some. She got a nice glass of juice to go along with it. That's all she wanted for lunch. The next thing I know, I'm getting a stern talking to because I'm not feeding their kids. Also, I made a large dinner for the kids tonight which consisted of kiwi and plums, hamburger patties with mashed potatoes and some steamed mixed veggies, the way they like them. And still it's not good enough for them. When will enough be enough for this family??????????? Okay, whatever, I'm done with this for now. Wait, I think I just heard the 'world's smallest violin' stop playing. I guess that means it's time for me to sign off. Good night and sleep tight! :)
P.S. God bless the idea of blogging. This is quite theraputic.....I think it's going to start taking precedent over chocolate soon.

Long time..no see...well I guess you really can't see me:)
Okay, so it's been forever since I last wrote on here. My bad. Laziness and lack of interesting events to write about have made this blog a bore. Sorry. Well, that has all changed, thank goodness! So, in May of this year, my friend decided to set me up with a friend of hers. Let's just say sparks did not fly and the whole love at first sight deal did not occur. But later on that week, I was invited to attend an A's game. (Yes, he is an A's fan...but I still love him anyway!) Suffice to say, we became inseparable and four months later we became engaged. If any of you are a friend of mine on Facebook, chances are you have seen the video of the proposal. If you have not seen it or are not a 'friend' of mine, then you should know that he proposed to me at an A's game. The same place where we had our first official date. I guess the date at the beach didn't count, I still have no idea why. It was a splendid evening and the weekend was going to be better because I was going to visit my fam. But more importantly they were going to meet my future husband. My family grilled him like the fourth of July BBQ corn. Seth had the most intriguing questions for Jimmy and frankly was the worst offender of the bunch. Go figure. Anyhow, there are a million other little moments that have taken place in the past few months. But I am to lazy and tired at the moment to write them all down. Besides that would take up like 3 pages worth of stuff. Who has time to do that? I don't I guess! Just be prepared to attend the coolest and most fun reception on Feb. 12, 2011!!!!!!!!!!! Well, nighty night y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUAH!!!!!! :) I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!

UTAH!!!!!!!
Holy crap! I almost forgot to mention the Utah vs Cal game. Since my parents had to pick me up at the airport and drive an additional three hours they recorded the game. It was good and well worth the wait and really all I gotta say about the game, was that it was FREAKING AWESOME. Oh, and as a side note, I AM NOT WASHING THE CARS!!!!!!!:)
Random looking page......
Hi there!!!! So, for the last hour I have been trying to get a new background/banner to replace my current festive one. No such luck!!! Until I can figure out how to fix the problem, you are going to have to deal with my page being really, really messed up. At least you don't have to listen to my Christmas play list. Instead you get to listen to some super random 'Taryn' songs!!!! If I have to suffer while this page is 'under construction', then so do you. Poor souls!!!:( ha ha....I feel delirious with power. Had I known this would happen, I would have gone to the 'dark side' earlier. They gave me cookies!!! Who says 'no' to cookies? So with that, may the mass times acceleration be with you....:)

Why hello there:)
Sup? Okay I was talking with some people the other day about a certain phrase that we use nowadays. Can you guess what it is? Okay, it is 'what is up?'. Throughout the years this phrase has become increasingly shorter and shorter. For example: it used to be that you would walk up to someone and say, "What is up?" When I was in school, this phrase went through two different phases. First, it was, "What's up?" and then it became, "Wazzup". Now days, this phrase has undergone another change. These days if you listen to a teenager, you'll most likely hear them say, "Sup" when they start a conversation. For reasons unknown to me, I have this fear that the phrase will die out and another more insipid one will take its place. Yes, I have random conversations, but if you think about it, I'm right. So I got my butt kicked in a game of soccer...by a five year old. Then my newly replenished junk food stash got raided and I'm back to PB&J sandwiches. Horray!!!:( I'm short of buying a safe and lock my goodies away from little hands.
So I'm a total Facebook addict. I guess that's the first step right? J/K! Well I've taken these ridiculous but ever addicting quizzes about random things like, 'what language best suits you'? Turns out that the German language is better suited for me than English. By no means am I about to delve into learning another language. If there is one I learned about serving a LDS mission, it is that I suck at speaking a lanuage other than English. I took a quiz about something to do with which famous woman in history I would be. My result was Laura Ingall's 'the badass'. I had to laugh when I saw this, because I remember watching 'The Little House on the Prarie as a child. What was another one?.....oh yeah! Apparently, Norway is more my style. So...I'm moving!! Catch on the flip side!!!! Yeah right....why would I want to live in a country where it's colder than Parowan during the winter time? So that might not be accurate. But if I were to ditch the good ole USA for another country, it would be for Ireland. I would love to live there. Who knows...I never thought that I would actually visit the country. Maybe one day!:) So while the quizzes are again, ridiculous and time consuming, they have provided me with fodder for my blog and your entertainment!
OH!!! I created a Christmas playlist the other day and I have been listening to it everyday since then. I'm fairly certain that I am annoying everyone around me. If not, I think that my employers think I'm crazy!!!!! I can't help it. The music makes me happy and really, who can argue with that logic. Trust me when I say that I really need to be in a uplifting mood this week. It's going to be crazy around here with people on very different schedules than usual. On a random note...I know what a shocker...the song 'Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer' has special meaning to me and members of my family. Hey Mom the title fits you now. haha I just thought of that. So here's to you Mom!!! Everytime that song comes on, I end up telling 'the story'. It's almost as good as "Where's the mall?" and "Sir, this is OnStar. Is everything okay?" Okay, so my leg just went to sleep. I guess that's my cue to end this post. I think I might post my Christmas playlist...perhaps it will put whomever reads this in a good mood. Unless of course you listen to the 'Grinch song'. Anyhow, good evening to all, and to all a good night!!!! Admit it. You totally saw that one coming! :)
