Hello from Cali....
So I made it to California without incident. But wouldn't you know, I ended up getting sick a couple of days after said arrival. Before I left Utah, I visited my fam and one of my nieces Harlie was sick. In a conversation with my Mom, she informed me that my Dad and also my brother-in-law all got sick like I me. So the first few days in my new home, and I spent it in bed, with many trips to the bathroom. I don't think rice and spaghetti will be eaten anytime soon. I also have found that my cell service here sucks. I really don't want to change my phone service. I just got used to the one I have now. Also, my computer cannot connect to the internet. Dad if you are reading this...help please!! Now with all of that said, this family that I am working for are great. More importantly the kids that I will be watching are awesome. So I am thinking that I will enjoy this area and whatnot. I'll keep you posted....

UTAH!!!!
13-o baby!!! Utah freaking rocked the house!!! I loved this game, and what a good one it was. Despite all the bad calls against Utah, they prevailed and whooped Alabama's butt. I was so into the game that I began to get really nervous and excited, to the point that I wanted to hurl. TMI I know, but it was a great game. My throat will most likely be soar for the next few days. My mom and I watched the game upstairs, while my dad hid down stairs playing some computer game. It was impossible for him to not hear us as we were screaming and hi-fiving each other throughout the game. I'm still on the post 'winning game high' or whatever it's called. It's to bad that the Utes won't be able to play in the National Championship game. But it's all good really. Utah played exactly the way they should have and now they have another bowl game under their belts. Go Utes!!

Christmas....
Well it's a been a few days since Christmas and I'm still recovering. I worked a quick, four hour shift, and then headed home to chill with the fam. At first my brother Jed arrived with his wife and son. We all settled down and waited for the rest of the crew to arrive. Soon my brother Seth and my sister Lindsey arrived with their families. After that, it was what I like to call organized chaos. Babies crawling on the floor, wrapping paper, boxes and bows everywhere. With 13 people all in one room together, it became necessary to spread out and find seclusion in different parts of the house. So with that, the boys went down stairs to play Fuzeball, while the gals cleaned the living room. I don't know how that ended up happening but go figure. It was a great Christmas this year. I've grown to really appreciate my family and the importance of each person in it. Right now, I am preparing to leave my beloved state of Utah and move to California. This ought to be an interesting adventure. That's all I'm going to say on that subject. So my cats are trying to 'attack' my legs at the moment. I love how they think they are so sneaky. It will be my last week working at CBA and I don't know how the girls will take my leaving them. They seem to get upset when staff quit. So I hope it goes well and what not. This is possibly the most random blog ever. Anyhow talk to you all later.....

Irene Dunne on What's My Line?
This is one of my favorite videos ever! You can never go wrong with the wonderful Irene Dunne.
So Hello...
Hello there! So it's Christmas Eve and I just finished my shift for work. Cedar Breaks Academy, otherwise known as CBA, is a girls home for troubled youth. Tonight was a good night. The girls sang karaoke and watched some movies. It was wonderful to see them enjoy each others company. I don't know if I can listen to the song 'I'm a Survivor' by Destiny's Child. The girls sang that one to death. I hope they have a wonderful Christmas. My Mom on the other hand is stressing out. She is trying to finish with some late x-mas presents. I'm hoping she doesn't totally freak out trying to get it all done. My entire family will be present tomorrow, so I am thrilled. I never imagined so many people in our house. We have a system set in place for tomorrow but who knows if it will work. It is my job to carry all the presents up to our living room so that my siblings don't have to walk up and down the stairs. Then, the office will convert into a nursery of sorts. I guess that's what happens when you have nieces and nephews. It will be a crazy day I am certain, but I wouldn't have it any other way. So I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and of course a Happy New Year. Until next time....(which could very well be tomorrow.)

It works...
So after fiddling around with the web, I found a step by step guide to putting the music player on my blog. Sweet! Anyhow, I hope it doesn't disturb. I thought it would be fun to have something to listen to. Right now, my cat Fuji is sitting next to me. She is trying her hardest to get into the Christmas gifts here in the office. But she is so cute that it is hard discipline her. She has this habit of rolling on the floor and then 'talking' to me and anyone else who happens to be around. Well I hope to be able to put pics up soon. But don't hold your breath.....:)
